About Us
Founded in 1897, the Zionist Organization of America (“ZOA”) is the oldest pro-Israel organization in the United States. With offices around the country and in Israel, the ZOA is dedicated to educating the public, elected officials, media, and college/high school students about Israel.

The Zionist Organization of America-Michigan Region is at the forefront of the fight against anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiment on campus in the media and Capitol Hill. At ZOA, we work relentlessly to:
-
Strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship and combat threats against Israel's legitimacy.

-
Fight antisemitism on campuses and nationwide during a time when antisemitic incidents are at an all-time high in U.S. history.

-
Empower students and young adults to become confident and proud advocates for Israel through educational workshops and missions to Israel.

-
Support Israeli communities by funding the purchase of protective gear, communication systems, first aid kits, cameras, and other critical items for their voluntary civilian defense units. This has become even more crucial after the October 7 attack, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced security and preparedness to protect against similar threats.

-
Strengthen Jewish pioneers and communities in Judea and Samaria to enhance Israel's long-term security.

We are also very proud of our Israel Scholarship Program, an intensive Israel advocacy seminar for high schoolers planning to participate in educational trips to Israel. Over the past few years, ZOA has spent approximately $50,000 helping students afford their trips to Israel.
Too many young adults don’t have the knowledge or confidence to stand up for Israel. College campuses are often hotbeds of anti-Israel sentiment and lies.
Our goal is to create the next generation of advocacy leaders who will defend Israel on campus and into adulthood.
